Blogs are a strange things for me; in one sense I like the idea of them for there ability to provide a record or history of your journey. I imagine flipping back through them years from now and reminiscing on where God has brought me from now until then. On the other hand a part of me is much more recluse and wondering why in the world I would post my thoughts online anyway; what's the point? The phenomenon of Facebook has also really killed the need for a blog for most people, but for some reason I'd rather write here than on Facebook anyway.
I'm in the Navy right now and image this being the logbook of my ship, posting the events of my life as they occur. One day fixing my Jeep, another sailing out of the harbor here on Lake Michigan, and then...who knows?
